Germany welcomes Participation in Egypt’s Economic Summit

Egyptian Investment Minister Ashraf Salman met on Thursday 29/01/2015 with Germany’s Ambassador to Egypt Hansjörg Habar on boosting bilateral relations and trade ties.

The meeting focused on the ongoing preparations for the international economic conference, to be held in Egypt in March, and the government’s plans to rearrange the economic structure and improve the business environment.

The Minister said that the conference would focus on restoring investors’ confidence in the Egyptian market and promote for Egypt as a global business hub.

For his part, Habar asserted that he is keen on partaking in Egypt’s economic conference for developing the Egyptian economy and following up the recent procedures taken by the Egyptian government for improving the investment climate.
