Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will receive Thursday his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma, who will arrive in Cairo today evening.
President Zuma’s Egypt visit is the first since Sisi took office in 2014. He will pay a two-day visit to discuss means of enhancing bilateral relations and the issues related to Africa as well as regional and international topics.
The visit is considered as a new page for Egyptian-South African relations to defuse the tensions occurred between the two states following June 30 uprising in 2013.
