Piraeus Bank Launches Credit Cards Next Week

Piraeus Bank-Egypt will launch a variety of credit cards next week, official sources told Amwal Al Ghad.

Sources added that the Bank delayed launching car loans till internal conditions become cleaner as Piraeus Bank plans to sell its arm in Egypt. The Bank also is waiting till the scene become clearer in Egypt after the presidential elections.

Piraeus Bank-Egypt restructured retail banking department, which was stopped in 2009 after the global financial crisis, in a way to meet the financial requirements of customers. Personal loan was launched for employees working in private and public sectors with a minimum limit of EGP 15 thousand and a maximum limit of EGP 500 thousand.
