The state-run Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has delivered natural gas to 6.5 million homes in Egypt by the end of April 2015, chairman Khaled Abd El Badee told Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday.
Abd El Badee stated that EGAS delivered natural gas as part of the country’s Household Natural Gas Connection National Project.
He added that the expansion in delivering natural gas reflects state’s care to develop and raise citizen’s living standards by providing fund required to implement the plan.
He noted that EGAS follows up the works of executive firms regularly to meet the targeted standards of delivering according to determined schedules.
Moreover, the recent gas explorations in Mediterranean Sea are expected to contribute greatly to enhancing the activities of delivering and providing natural gas for all state’s sectors, Abd EL Badee clarified.
