Egypt aims to increase its information technology exports to 16 billion Egyptian pounds (US$2 billion) by the end of 2016, senior sources from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) told Amwal Al Ghad Monday.
This comes as part of a bigger strategy that MCIT plans to present to the country’s long-awaited parliament, the sources added.
Egypt’s IT exports currently stood at 12 billion pounds.
