Kuwait’s investments in Egypt hit $2.8 billion: envoy

Kuwait’s total investments in Egypt are estimated at US$ 8 billion, said the Kuwaiti ambassador to Cairo, Salem Al-Zamanan.

The Kuwaiti official further said that his country is investing in 964 Egyptian projects involving sectors of industry, tourism, real estate, communications and information technology, in addition to agriculture.

Meanwhile, Al-Zamanan met Thursday with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil to discuss means to boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries to cover more sectors.
