The Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) is to sign a contract to establish new industrial complex for small and medium enterprises in Qalyubia Governorate, the federation annonced Sunday.
The new complex is set to be established on the area of 45 feddans in Al Khankah area and will be dedicated for chemical industries.
The contract will be signed by FEI’s Chairman Mohamed El-Sewedy and Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher with the presence of Tarek Qabil -trade minister- and Ahmed Zaki Badr, minister of local development.
The complex will include around 700 small factories set to be build in three years to provide around 10,000 job opportunities
Building the complex comes among the initiatives adopted by the BoD of the federation since its tenure 2013-16 notably developing small enterprises, enhance the efficiency of current industrial complexes.
Additionally, the initiatives of FEI targets establishing new industrial complexes to meet youth’s needs and providing real job opportunities for them.
