The Egyptian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce is to organise the first trade forum between Egypt and China on Saturday 20 February 2016 in cooperation with Egypt’s Union Group Holding Company.
The chamber announced that its partnership with Union Group comes as the second is considered as one of the largest Egyptian firms working in China and due to the great trust that Union Group gains from all Chinese parts.
The chamber added that there are 1,500 Egyptian registered in the forum while 35 Chinese firms are set to participate in the event, the chamber added.
The forum will be inaugurated by Moataz Al Said -chairman of the Egyptian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce- in the attendance of Vice Chairman of Union Group Ahmed Moataz, and other officials and representatives of the Egyptian companies.
The forum targets introducing the important Chinese firms that work in different trade and industrial fields to the Egyptian firms as well as showcasing the available investment opportunities in Egypt. Additionally, the trade forum eyes creating joint projects between the Egyptian companies and its Chinese counterparts.
During the forum, direct bilateral meetings between Chinese and Egyptian businessmen are set to be held, the chamber pointed out.
The forum includes presenting the authorised Chinese companies that own required quality certificates in addition to introducing Chinese participants with the regulations of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and regulations on exporting and importing processes between the two states.
