Shares of Egyptian dairy firm Arabian Food Industries (Domty) has opened 10 percent higher in its first trading debut on Cairo stock exchange.
At 10:50am Cairo time (08:50 GMT), the stock’s trading value reached 51 million Egyptian pounds ($5.7 million) after 5 million shares were traded.
Earlier, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) had approved Domty to start trading on the bourse from 22 March at a nominal value of 9.2 pounds.
