The Egyptian Tourism Federation has launched a call for tenders on a new insurance policy tailored for its assets and premises.
The insurance policy is with total sum insured of up to 112 million Egyptian pounds (US$12.6 million), said an official from a local brokerage firm who applies for the tender in favour of some insurance firms.
Mohamed El-Morsi – Managing Director of Future Insurance Brokerage, further told Amwal Al Ghad that the policy involves insurance coverage for the federation’s assets and affiliated properties against all dangers of fire, burglary, and dishonesty, and others.
There are five insurers, namely Misr Insurance Company, Arab Misr Insurance Group (GIG), Orient Takaful Insurance Company, and United Insurance Company, seeking to win the policy tender, El-Morsi added.
