GIZ: Egypt nominated to be MENA’s micro financing and insurance hub

Egypt is nominated to become a regional hub for microfinance and insurance activities in the coming period, an official from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) said on Monday.

Hayder Al-Baghdadi, Programme Director Microfinance at GIZ, further said during an insurance event in Cairo, that his agency cooperates with Egypt in drawing micro financing regulations.
