British police say on Tuesday three people have been shot dead near a swimming pool in the eastern England town of Spalding.
The suspected attacker is among the dead in the incident, which police say is not thought to be terrorism-related.
Lincolnshire Police say they are not looking for any suspects in connection with the shooting near the Castle sports complex in the town, 90 miles (145 kilometers) north of London.
The force says “three people have been fatally wounded, including the suspected offender.”
“We can confirm that there has been a firearms incident on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding in the vicinity of the Castle Swimming Pool, in which three people have been fatally wounded, including the suspected offender,” Lincolnshire police said in a statement.
“There is no indication that this is a terrorist related incident and no shots have been fired by police. We would urge members of the public to stay away from the area at the present time.”
Britain has tough gun control laws and in recent years has seen a few dozen firearms deaths a year.
