Egypt’s net foreign direct investments (FDI) surged by $1.054 billion in the third quarter of the year to stand at $2.772 billion, latest central bank report showed Sunday.
During the second quarter, net FDI reached $1.718 billion.
Investment inflows rose to $3.500 billion in the third quarter, from $3.156 billion in the second quarter. However, outflows fell from $1.437 billion to $727 million, according to the report.
