The number of Moroccan companies operating in Egypt has reached 152, with investments totalling $80 million, Mohammed Bin Ayad, General Secretary of the Moroccan Ministry of Trade and Industry, said Wednesday.
During the Moroccan delegation’s visit for the Federation of Egyptian Industries on Wednesday, Ayad said that Egypt’s investments in Morocco currently amount to $30 million.
He further said that there are several opportunities to double and increase investments between Egypt and Morocco.
In 2015, trade exchange between Egypt and Morocco stood at $400 million.
