Omran: EGX to Halt Sunday Trading If Court Upholds Runoff

Mohammed Omran, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) stated that the decision on shutting the bourse on Sunday, June 17th will depend on the decision of the Supreme Constitutional Court as regards the Political Isolation law.

“If the court issues a decree backs election suspension, the bourse shall not shut down, If not, the bourse then shall halt all its trading on Sunday.” Omran added
