Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr reviewed with Chairman of the Egyptian-Saudi Business Council Saleh Kamel means of boosting investments in Egypt.
During a meeting on Wednesday 15/3/2017, the minister underlined that the ministry prioritizes investment incentive measures to up investment and economic growth rates.
She noted that an investment map is being prepared to cover all investment opportunities in various governorates.
Meanwhile, Kamel said he has been doing business in Egypt since 1970, hailing the measures taken by the investment ministry to solve problems of investors.
Kamel added that he seeks to increase investments in Egypt in the coming period, referring to the Egyptian giant ventures, such as the new administrative capital project and the Suez Canal axis project.
He added that these projects would realize development in Egypt.
The talks tackled several underway projects in Egypt as well as means of increasing Saudi investments in the country.
Kamel said Saudi investors plan to boost investments in Egypt for Saudi Arabia to remain the top Arab investor in Egypt.
