Qarun Petroleum Company, a joint venture between the Egyptian government and U.S. oil giant Apache, says it has boosted it crude oil production to around 1,000 barrels a month.
The company accelerated a number of oil field developments in the Western Desert as well as more exploration projects to leverage its crude oil reserves during the financial year 2016/2017, its chairman Mohsen El-Noby further said on Sunday.
Crude reserves were raised to nearly 8 million barrels, El-Noby added.
