Egypt will be hosting the Innovation Summit-MENA 2018 , held on 29-31 July 2018. a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between MCIT and Brains Innovation Summit, witnessed by the ICT minister Yasser El Kady.
ElKady has received the CEO of Brains Innovation Summit John Glassey, where they discussed the arrangements related to hosting the Innovation Summit-MENA 2018 in Egypt. The meeting was attended by MCIT Undersecretary for the International Relations Division Nermine El-Saadany.
The 2018 Summit aims to encourage investment in Egypt to create a regional market through direct project financing and partnership with the private sector. It also provides an opportunity to highlight Egypt’s capabilities to be the leading country in the region in innovation, and benefit from ICTs in education and financial inclusion
A number of sessions are expected to be held during the Summit for ministers, senior government officials and decision-makers, In addition to holding a number of other sessions for the private sector, investors and industry partners, and joint meetings between ministers, senior government officials, private sector representatives and investors.
Moreover, an exhibition for companies specialized in related fields will be organized on the sidelines of the Summit.
Seven African and Arab ministerial meetings have been, previously, organized, sponsored and supported by a number of major international companies specialized in the ICT fields.
