Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) seeks to increase its credit facilities and loans to 18 Egyptian pounds by the end of 17/2018 compared to 16 billion pounds in 2017, its Chairperson Mervat Sultan said.
she added that the bank seeks to increase its SMEs portfolio to 3.1 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 17/2018 comparing to 2.9 billion pounds by the end of 2017.
The bank is set to open five new branches during 2018 in Aswan, Beni Sue, Suez, the fifth Settlement, and Hurghada, increasing its network to 35 branches spread all over Egypt.
she further noted that the bank has attracted 120 new clients in 2017, clarifying that it seeks to increase its data base to 100.000 clients within the next years
