Maghawri: Our Agency To Assign Social Housing in Governorates Soon

Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Maghawri, chairman of Central Agency for Reconstruction, said the agency will present and assign 150.000 units to be implemented in the governorates; referring that the ministry is in charge of the whole project, not the governorates.

He added the decided budget of the agency is EGP 1.5 billion for implementing the project, while the budget of social housing projects reaches EGP 8 billion. Almost 70.000 residential units will be presented soon.

These units are of the project’s first phase in all the governorates; 29 ones. The Central Agency for Reconstruction will supervise the project through the agency’s branches in each governorate.
