ATM’s transactions amount to EGP 750mn: Fawry CEO

Number of transactions which are implemented through automated teller machines (ATM) amounted to 750 billion Egyptian pounds annually, Fawry’s CEO Ashraf Sabry said.

Clients who are obtaining loans from banks do not exceed 8 percent of banking sector customers, Sabry added.

Fawry’s CEO further noted that digitisation will be carried out largely between financial and non-financial organisations over the coming period.

Fawry is an electronic payment platform that provides financial E-Payment services.
