“Getting closer…So believe harder,” Mohamed Salah wrote to his fans
Liverpool Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah sent a message to Reds fans after a difficult win against Tottenham on Sunday, a game that put the team a step closer to fans’ dream that Liverpool will win the Premier League.
Salah posted photos of the team celebrating the goal he assisted against Tottenham on his Twitter account. “Getting closer…So believe harder,” Salah wrote in his post.
Salah helped Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 at the Anfield stadium in the 32nd round of the Premier League.
The Liverpool striker places second on the list of the Premier League’s top scorers of the season with 17 goals, tying his teammate Sadio Mane, Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and behind Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, who has scored 19 goals.
Liverpool tops the league table with 79 points, ahead of Manchester City by two points, while Tottenham is third with 61 points.
