Sisi forms committee to amend public business sector firms law

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a decree No.526/2019 on the formation of a committee tasked with amending the regulating law of the public business sector companies.

The committee is set to develop a clear vision aiming at achieving positive outcomes without affecting the ongoing structure and reform plan.

It is assigned to develop a media plan to deal with any misunderstandings by showing the amendments’ pros.

The committee gathers the president’s assistant for the national and strategic projects, the public business sector minister, a presidential legal adviser and representatives of the Planning Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the General Intelligence Directorate, the Administrative Control Authority and the Homeland Security Service.

The decree was published in the official gazette.
