On Sunday, Dr Hamed Sedeek, Researcher at the National Research Centre (NRC), filed a lawsuit before the Administrative Judiciary Court, at the State Council; calling for returning a verdict that expunge the names of the members who had withdrawn from the Constituent Assembly to draft the Constitution, and charging them with treason.
The lawsuit No. 12101/67 litigates Dr Mohamed Morsi, Egypt’s President, and Judge Hossam El Ghareiny, Head of the Constituent Assembly.
The complainant mentioned that the withdrawal of some members from the Constituent Assembly is against the goals of the Egyptian revolution and turn Egypt to civil war and chaos. So the president should expunge their names from the Constituent Assembly and trialing them with treason charges.
