Egypt Offers 91-,266-Day T-Bills Worth EGP 5 Bln

The Egyptian Ministry of Finance announced that it has offered EGP 5 billion treasury bills in an auction today.

91-day T-bills worth EGP 1.5 billion are offered at an average rate of 13.239%. Yields on 91-day T-bills ranged from 12.999% to 13.328%.

266-day T-bills worth EGP 3.5 billion are offered at an average rate of 13.667%. Yields on 266-day T-bills ranged from 13.401% to 13.7%.

The Central Bank of Egypt, which sells T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, announced it will offer 91-, 182-, 273- and 364-day T-bills and 3-,5- and 7-year bonds worth EGP 48 billion in December.

91-, 182-, 273- and 364-day T-bills will be offered at values of EGP 5.5 billion, EGP 9.5 billion, EGP 14 billion and EGP 14.5 billion respectively.

The Finance Ministry will offer 3-year term bonds (mature in October 2015) worth EGP two billion, 5-year term bonds (mature in November 2017) worth EGP 1.5 billion, and 7-year term bonds (mature in November 2019) worth EGP two billion.
