Al-Ellamey: Not Selecting One Candidate is Blunder

Zayad al-Ellamey, Member of Parliament, sees that not choosing a consensus candidate among the youth of 25 Jan revolution is one of the current period’s mistakes which led to these final results of elections.

He added that, in the talk show “Al Shaab Yoreed” (People Want), the country is still learning the principles of democracy. In the future elections, people shouldn’t make such a mistake, as they should agree on electing one candidate.

He elaborated that there are doubts about the result of the presidential elections, due to authorizing the presidential elections commissions all the powers.

Zayed referred that if the forthcoming president doesn’t achieve the revolution’s demands, this matter will lead to erupting new revolution; assuring that the people carefully watch the matters, as the MB got less rate in the presidential elections, 25%, rather than the parliamentary elections, 45%.
