Al-Nour Party Says No Taxes On EGX Gains, Finalizes ‘Egypt 2050’ Plan

The Salafist Al-Nour Party said it has finalized its platform entitled “Egypt 2050”. The platform includes the future vision for Egypt and its national economy.

Hesham Nasr, member at the party’s economic committee, stated that Al-Nour’s newly-made platform tackles political, economic and societal reforms for the long run. It also  handles the methods for facing as well as ending the challenges the country witnesses nowadays, Nasr added.

Nasr noted that the project also includes working on a number of key developmental projects in Port Said, Suez Canal regions alongside other areas.

Nasr also denied that the Salafist party has any intentions or plans to impose taxes on the gains posted by the firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Passing such taxes on EGX-listed firms’ gains will have negative impacts indeed, Nasr asserted.

The societal communication is one of the major methods for undertaking the political reform and for ending all the current challenges, he said.

“Nuba is one of the main files which should be tackled.” Nasr added
