Alexandria Port Receives Vessel Carrying 58.000 Tons Of Wheat

Egypt’s Alexandria Port received the Panamanian vessel “MIDI Genova” carrying wheat shipment at weight of 58.000 tons.

Gen. Adel Yassin Hamad, Head of Alexandria Port Authority, said the wheat shipment is coming from Strait of Gibraltar, and it will be evacuated in grain silos, paving the way for inspecting it and making sure of it suitability for human consumption.

In his statement on Sunday, Hamad said the movement of containers and goods goes naturally within the port.
