AmCham-Egypt to knock U.S. doors on April 17

The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) will send its Annual Doorknock Mission to the United States from April 17-22,2016, Omar Mehanna -member of AmCham- said Wednesday.

During his meeting with Egyptian Trade minister Tarek Qabil, Mehanna asserted that the mission’s visit comes in vital time as the U.S. government prepares for the presidential elections.

U.S. presidential elections are on the top of the delegation’s agenda to be discussed with the American side, the member clarified.

Mehanna pointed out that the mission – which is set to encompass 34 AmCham members- is scheduled to meet with members of the U.S. Congress, Administration officials, think tanks, media and leaders from the U.S. business community.
