The former Secretary General of Arab League, Amr Moussa, emphasized that the participation of Dr Mohamed Morsi in the African Summit represents a great change in the Egyptian presidency’s stance from the African Union and its meetings.
Moussa commented in a statement on the participation of President Mohamed Morsi in the Africa Summit which was held in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa; “this participation is the start”.
The participation could be a fundamental change if it is followed by rounds in Africa, in order to reshape the Egyptian-African relations.
He added that a serious and stable relation with the African countries should be build on the base of joint economic and cultural interests, plus a political coordination with the African countries in the international forums.
