U.S. energy firm Apache eyes investing $1.4bln in Egypt next year

The US-based energy company Apache Corporation is set to invest $1.4 billion in the Egyptian market in 2024, according to a cabinet statement on Sunday.

The announcement was made in a meeting between the Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and a delegation from the company.

During the meeting they discussed the company’s plans and investments in Egypt in the upcoming period.

According to Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla, Apache is the largest American investor in Egypt.
