Arab Contractors implementing $255 mln works for Egypt’s new capital city project

Egyptian leading construction firm, Arab Contractors is carrying out total business volume worth 2 billion Egyptian pounds in the country’s new administrative capital city, first vice-chairman Sayed Farouk said Wednesday.

Farouk said that the company is implementing infrastructure works on an area of 550 feddans. In addition, AC is building 12.000 housing units and executing number of roads.

However, the total length of roads in the first phase of the yet-unnamed new capital is set to reach 45 kilo meters with total cost of 1 billion Egyptian pounds.

Moreover, Farouk added that the works has started a month ago with progress rate of 10 percent; it would be finished within 18 months.
