Arab Contractors to Establish Suez Plant for Thermal Energy

Arab Contractors has signed a contract for the civil works required for Suez plant for Thermal Electricity with a capacity of 650 MW at a cost of EGP 605 million.

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, the company’s chairman, stated that the project will be carried out ahead of schedule, promising to intensify the work that would increase the production of electricity. The contract was witnessed by Eng. Gaber El Desouki,  Chairman of the Egyptian Electric Holding Company, and was signed by Eng. Hamdy Azab, Chairman of  East Delta.

He also pointed out that this contract will be terminated by the end of 2015. It includes the design and installation of the civil works required for establishing the plant, in addition to the mechanical and electrical works.

On the other hand, Mahlab has considered opportunities of cooperation between the Egyptian and German for Building and Construction Contractors in the field of vocational training, by presenting the projects implemented by the company in Africa.
