Arab Contractors to finish 3 wheat silos worth $168k by June-end

Egypt leading contracting company, Arab Contractors is set to finish building three wheat silos with total value of 1.5 million Egyptian pounds ($168,928) by the end of June 2016, its chairman Mohsen Salah said on Tuesday.

AC has already completed 13 out of 15 wheat silos assigned to the company as part of a national programme, which aims to build 50 silos so as to decrease wheat loss, grow more wheat in reclaimed desert land, and store wheat safely.

Moreover, UAE allotted a $4.9 billion grant to establish 25 wheat silos in Egypt with a collective capacity of 1.5 million tons to help prevent the loss of billions of dollars worth of wheat each years.
