Arab Summit kicks off in Egypt amid Yemen Conflict

An Arab summit expected to support a Saudi-led offensive against Yemeni rebels and approve a joint military force has just begun in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh on Saturday.

Yemen President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi was present along with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Arab leaders. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is also scheduled to address the summit, AFP reported.
