Asia-Pacific shares end mostly lower on Friday

Asia-Pacific stocks concluded mixed on Friday as the Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gained 0.33 percent, while the Nikkei 225 led the Shanghai Composite lower.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 lost 484.84 points or 1.83 percent to 25,937.21, while China’s Shanghai Composite decreased by 0.55 percent to close at 3,024.39.

Taiwan TSEEC 50 index shrunk by 0.81 percent to end the session at 13,424.58, on the contrast the Mumbai Sensex index increased by 1.80 percent to settle at 1,016.96.

Australia ASX decreased by 81.90 points, or 1.12 percent to 6,678.70, while Korea’s stock – KOSPI index dropped by 0.71 percent to reach 2,155.49.
