Asian markets briefing 18/10/2023

The majority of the Asian markets closed low on Wednesday with China’s SSEC rising by -0.8 percent to 3,058.71, losing 24.79 points.

Hong Kong’s HSI slipped by -0.23 percent and lost 40.82 points to reach a value of 17,732.52.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 soared by 0.01 percent and gained 1.96 points to close at 32,042.25.
