Asian markets briefing 22/05/2023

The Asian markets closed high on Monday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, rising by 0.39 percent to 3,296.47, gaining12.93 points.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, soared by 0.90 percent and gained 278.47 points, reaching a value of 31,086.82.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, inched up by 1.17 percent to 19,678.17 after it gained 227.60 points.
