Asian Stock Market Briefing 20/02/2023

The Asian Stock Market witnessed an increase in the majority of its indexes. The Shanghai index (SSEC) witnessed an increase of 2.06 percent to reach a closing value of 3,290.34, when it opened with 3,230.47. The highest value recorded of 3,291.04, which was a very close value to its closing value.

The Japanese index Nikkei 225 witnessed a slight incline of 0.07 percent, to close at 27,531.94. Its opening value was 27,497.13, with a lowest value recorded of 27,426.48. The highest value recorded today was the closing value.

Hong Kong’s index HSI witnessed an incline as well, of 0.81 percent with a closing value of 20,886.96. The opening value was 20,681.47. Throughout the day it has been going between a lowest value of 20,606.85 and a highest value of 20,973.67.
