Banks Take No Extra Security Measures For Anti-Brotherhood Protest

Foreign and state-owned banks affirmed that they will not implement extra procedures to secure their branches in Down Town and Tahrir Square where rallies against the Brotherhood are expected to take place. Bankers said the existing security procedures are enough.

Security men are securing all banks’ branches and headquarters. Besides, there are enough surveillance cameras and steel doors. The turmoil that the banking sector has witnessed since last year’s revolution made the banks take precautionary measures to secure their branches and headquarters.

Bankers affirmed that all ATMs will be supplied with the same flows of money on Friday. Banks are not worried from the next protest as figures who called for it said it will be a non-violent rally.
