Banque Misr Contributed To EGP EGP 22 Bln Finances In 2012

Banque Misr arranged, financed and contributed to a number of finances worth EGP 22.163 billion in 2012 offered to a number of sectors such as building materials, cement, financial services, chemicals, petrochemicals, petrol, gas, air transport, communications and electricity. The bank contributed about EGP 5.415 billion to these finances.

According to a statement released by the bank, EGP 3.65 billion worth of finances are currently arranged and Banque Misr will contribute about EGP 1.825 billion to these finances.

As part of its marketing plan to attract new customers and its commitment to support the national economy, the bank currently studies financing projects with EGP 5 billion.

The bank is expected to contribute EGP 307.3 billion to loans to a number of sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical services, ports, mortgage investment and chemicals, petrochemicals, food and beverage industries.
