Beverage maker Juhayna invests $45m to expand in Egyptian market

Egyptian beverage and yogurt maker Juhayna for Food Industries finished injecting 400 million Egyptian pounds (US$45 million) during the first half of 2016, Deputy CEO stated Tuesday.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Seif El Din Thabet said that those new investments come among the expansionary strategy that the company announced by the beginning of 2016.

The plan includes pumping total investments of around 640 million pounds into industrial and logistics sectors, the official noted.

Thabet pointed out that Juhayna has finished adding six new lines for producing  yogurt and juice.

The total capacity of Juhayna reached around 4,000 tonnes daily after finishing the expansions and adding new production lines, the Deputy CEO clarified.
