Brazilian meat exports to Arab states hit $2.76b in nine months

The total volume of Brazilian exports of beef to Arab states recorded US$2.76 billion during the first nine months of 2016, Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce-CCAB announced.

CEO, Michel Alab stated Tuesday that the chamber is responsible for promoting Brazilian Halal meat (permissible according to Islamic law) to UAE and the Middle East in general.

On other side, the official noted that CCAB takes part in the Global Business Forum on Latin America that is organised by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 9-10 November 2016.

Under the  patronage of Vice  President  and  Prime Minister  of  the  UAE  and  Ruler of  Dubai,  Mohammed  bin  Rashid  Al  Maktoum,  the forum would shed light on the opportunities and areas of investment presented by Latin American markets.

With the theme of “Shifting Synergies”, the forum discuss investment prospects within competitive sectors.
