Brazil’s medical device companies on trade mission to Egypt next week

Brazil’s medical supplies and equipment industry lobby group ABIMO will afford a chance for six medical device companies to go on a trade mission to Egypt from October 16 to 19 to search for business opportunities in this industry.

This mission will promote the Brazilian industry and increase healthcare exports to the country, ABIMO market access analyst José Fernando said in a statement.

Moreover, representatives of the healthcare, dental and lab segments will participate to promote Brazilian manufacturers.

The medical device companies that will participate are Fanem for medical and lab devices, Magnamed firm for lung ventilation, Opuspac company for automation and hospital logistics, Biotecno specialised in medical refrigeration, DFL and Biodinâmica for dental products.

Noteworthy, Brazil has a good trade relationship with Egypt stimulated by the Mercosur-Egypt free trade agreement.
