Canada’s Lotus Gold signs $2.5mln gold exploration contract in Egypt

The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) and Canada’s Lotus Gold Corporation have signed on Sunday a research contract in three sectors with investments estimated at about $2.5 million.

The contract was signed by Yasser Ramadan, chairman of EMRA, and Omar Abdulnasser, regional director of Lotus Gold Corporation, in the presence of Michelle Silvier, General Manager of the company.

Lotus Gold Corporation is a private Canadian gold exploration and development company, focused on the Egyptian Eastern Desert. Lotus Gold’s interests include 10 blocks and a leading in-country land package of 1,740 sqkm within the prospective Arabian-Nubian Shield.
