China approves importing Egyptian grapes: minister

Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil, said Friday said that China has approved to import the Egyptian grapes since Wednesday, 12 July.

15 farms and 15 Egyptian packaging firms were approved to export to the Chinese market, Kabil added.

Abdel Hamid Demerdash, Agricultural Export Council chairman stated that exports to China may increase in 2018, pointing out that exporters will be must adhere to the technical standards and requirements.
