China Business Delegation to Visit Egypt Next Month

A delegation of Chinese investors will be visiting Egypt next month to discuss available investment opportunities in the Egyptian market, minister of international cooperation Naglaa Al-Ahwani said.

During a press conference on Sunday, the Egyptian minister announced that the ministerial delegation had recently met with Chinese investors to discuss several investment opportunities in fields like petrochemicals, small and medium-sized (SME) industries, leather, agriculture, irrigation, and drilling ground wells.. In addition, she indicated that Government is planning to sign agreements with China within Egypt’s Economic Summit next March.

On other side, Al Ahwany stated that El-Sisi’s visit to China aims to upgrade bilateral strategic cooperation with China to increase Egyptian exports to Chinese market to fix the large gap in the balance of trade between the two countries.
