China’s foreign trade expands 5.7% in 4-months – GAC

China’s total trade in goods grew at a solid pace in the first four months of 2024, reaching 5.7 per cent year-on-year in yuan terms, Xinhua reported, citing data from the General Administration of Customs (GAC) published on Thursday.

The total value of China’s foreign trade in goods for the January-April period reached 13.81 trillion yuan ($1.95 trillion). Exports contributed 7.81 trillion yuan, while imports reached 6 trillion yuan.
