Cillian Murphy talks his favourite Christopher Nolan film

Irish actor Cillian Murphy talked about his favourite Christopher Nolan Film in an interview with the Independent on Monday. Murphy said that his favourite movie of Nolan is the 2014 space epic Interstellar.

He said that he regrets missing out on an opportunity to join the movie, calling it “emotional”. “I adore Interstellar just because I find it so emotional. I remember seeing it in the cinema when I had little kids. It just had a big impact on me,” he added.

“It broke my heart. I love watching his films when I’m not in them because you don’t have to freak out about the size of your ears, or whatever,” he added jokingly.

He was also asked to choose a Nolan film to complement Oppenheimer, whereas Murphy opted for Interstellar once again.

He also said that for those who want to watch a shorter film, the 2017 war drama Dunkirk would be an excellent choice.

Murphy and Nolan’s journey which started with the 2005 Batman Begins, going on with The Dark Knight, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, and Dunkirk.

However, Interstellar stands out as the film that captured his admiration.
