Communications Ministry Supports Nearly 70 SMEs in GITEX-Dubai

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will take part in the GITEX exhibition that will be held by the end of the current month in Dubai. The Ministry will also support about 60-70 small and medium-sized entreprises to join the exhibition.

Nermine El Saadany, Director of International Relations Division, stated to “Amwal Al Ghad” that the Ministry will participate in a suite with a space reaches approximately to 230 meters, noting that the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Hany Mahmoud will attend the opening of the exhibition in order to benefit from opportunities for investment that may be provided in the next round of the exhibition.

She emphasized that the Ministry seeks to expand into the African and Arab worlds in the next period, by exchanging the Egypt’s experience in the sector of communications and information technology with the least developed African and Arab countries. She further assured that the next period will witness a significant growth in information technology.

Moreover, she pointed out that the visit of a U.S. delegation of businessmen to the Ministry will result, as expected, in an increase in the rate of American investments in the current period, confirming the continuation of Egyptian cooperation with European and Gulf countries and that it will be further enhanced during the coming months.
